Career Advisory Service: Your personal guide to career success.
Call us crazy, but there鈥檚 nothing we love more than getting into the nitty-gritty of a CV! Structure, word choices, formatting, writing style 鈥� we check it all, and ensure it makes you shine.听Not only that, but we can help you with job searching, applications, interview prep, and securing a promotion.听Sessions are available in-person at Gants Hill or Ilford, or online for all three campuses.听We work around your availability to get you ready for your next career move.
Entrepreneurship Centre: Learning to fly while building the plane.
The newest arrow in our quiver, and the student business owner鈥檚 answer to the Career Advisory Service. We understand that starting a business can feel like unpicking a never-ending web of paperwork, insurance, and complex decisions.听Through the Entrepreneurship Centre, you can access materials, advice, and networking opportunities, as well as apply for select funding for incubation or acceleration activities.
Work-Based Learning: Real skills for the real world.
All Foundation Degree students must undertake a 96-hour work placement during the final semester of the course.听We want you to take full advantage of this opportunity to upgrade your skills and experience, and as such, we start working with you from the start of your second year.听Speak to the E&P Department to learn about the three most common pathways to sourcing your own placement.
